Nairobi, Kenya – SF Group is pleased to announce the successful completion of the 2021 quality assurance program audit for ISO 18788 and ISO 9001. Both of these standards were recertified for company operations across Africa and Asia. 18788 provides a framework for establishing, implementing, operating, monitoring, reviewing, maintaining and improving the management of security operations. 9001 specifies requirements for a quality management system when an organisation needs to demonstrate its ability to consistently provide products and services that meet customer needs as well as statutory and regulatory requirements.
Group Chief Operating Officer Crispin Kennedy said he is pleased with the recertification. “These results speak to the high standards sought and achieved the Group and to the confidence our customers can have in the quality of our methods and our processes. I am especially pleased at the message broadcast by 18788. This standard provides us a business and risk management framework. It also demonstrates to our customers conduct which meets and exceeds their expectations of our security operations. Perhaps more importantly it reflects our commitment to accountability to the law and for our respect of human rights.”
The Chief Operating Officer noted that the Asia certification is based on its Hong Kong centre of operations and that the company is now embarked on achieving certification for its South American business operations which it aims to finalise in 2022.
